After being asked to design a Christmas card for my boss to send out, it dawned on me that I should create some cards of my own. After much mulling over of design ideas I remembered that last year I had taken close up photos of ornaments on my tree, thinking that at some point they might be useful. Once I had found them and brought them into Photoshop I had great fun manipulating the images and playing with fonts to create designs that I liked.
The next task was to decided how to print them. after mulling over the pros and cons of in-house and printing company printing, quantities, overprinting, and many other ideas, I decided to try print on demand. I had heard good things about Zazzle.com, so set to work. The shop itself needs some work, as there are only a limited number of store skins, but determined to get the images up and listed, I thought the shop could wait – though having just seen it again, it can’t wait long!
So, after all that excitement, I uploaded these images:
Then I recalled two other designs I had created, and which are currently for sale without personalization onBusyBoomersHandmadeGifts.com and uploaded those images as well:
I’ll now have to wait and see if there are customers for these designs!

The endpaper is the decorated paper that connects the book's cover to it's pages. It is both ornamental and has an important structural purpose. I chose the name 'endpaper' for this site, because I am a graphic designer who loves to make beautiful things that are also functional. This site is the place where these two passions meet.
